Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputy William Mullikin was tragically killed in a car accident on July 14, 1981, while responding to a reported sighting of the suspect wanted for the murders of 滑铁卢 Police officers Michael Hoing and Wayne Rice.
Marcia Mullikin fondly remembers how proud her husband was of his 教育 and his career. She created the scholarship with the Hawkeye Foundation to honor her late husband’s profession and to pay tribute to the 教育 he received at Hawkeye.
